Lance, Just to let you know I had a full weekend playing hard with the paddles at the Tees Barrage and the Nene white water centres.
I think the paddles are brilliant. Great quality, and finish. If you ever intend to do a slalom paddle, I'd be interested.! Even if it was just the prototype.? :-)
Would it be possible to keep me informed of any offers in the future. Hope to deal with you again.!
AP. Regards, Adam-Peter 'AP' Gair.

Review From UK River Guidebook
I was asked to test Mitchell Blades new design as I take part in several disciplines of kayaking. So what can I say about them:
On Surf - awesome, Playboating - awesome, River running (whitewater grade III - V) - awesome.
These are amazing paddles, made by a British company who listens to the British paddler. I've passed them around my mates to have a go and they all give the thumbs up. If you see me on the water and you want to try them just ask.

Review From UK River Guidebook
Im now on my second set of Mitchell blades, I had a set of the old style Carbon Elites which were EXCELLENT in every way, and received my new set early this year, having paddled with them I can also say that these are a substantial improvement over the old ones!
The new design of Blade is awesome and has No flutter at all in the water. and due to the slightly thicker tips will wear better. They are that good that I ordered my Girlfriend a set too!..... She also absolutely loves them!
Anyone thinking of buying a set of new blades should DEFINITELY look at what Lance has to offer, excellent quality, cusy\tom build and excellent service all at very competitive prices..... Anyone sees me out on the river and wants to understand for themselves can have a bash with my carbons!!!!!

I have used the new Mitchell Blades. The ones I used had a really cool chequered carbon shaft and, the blades are stiff and have lots of power. When I used them I was surprised with how light they were too. I already own a set of Mitchell Blades but these new one are much improved on the ones I have. Well worth looking at, plus the carbon elite's look super cool with the new stickers.
I paddle mainly C1 and I am having a paddle made for me, whatever your looking for give Lance Mitchell a call, always better to have a custom made paddle than just picking one of a shelf.

I have also recently bought one of Mitchell Blades Silver Shadows in the Jaguar shape and I can't praise it enough!!! Its light powerful, awesome to paddle with and looks fantastic! I totally agree this could be the new British Werner.
I used to paddle with Robson Chiles and they were okay. I changed to Werners and have been happy with them, but it was time for a new paddle. After reading all the good reports about Mitchell Blades on canoe cafe and UKRGB I decided to switch again. Best decision I've made in ages!! Their Brill!!

Review From Canoe Cafe
I have been paddling with Mitchell Blades for almost 4 years now. This new blade is the best of the lot. I totally agree with you Stu (Parry). They are light and powerful. I have a double torque shaft and the new profile of the blades really helps. I recently took them to newark on the first outing, and the was no sign of any ware from that inch deep concrete and I wasn't being careful lol!! This blade is gonna be a winner!!

Review From UK River Guidebook
A couple of years ago I had a Mitchell Blades paddle and I loved it. My boyfriend lent it to a mate to use and he loved it - so he sold it to him. I was not happy!!
I replaced it with another famous brand paddle and couldn't get on with it, so changed it for another famous brand paddle, and then another. To say the least nothing compared to my original Mitchell Blades paddle. So I gave my boyfriend an ultimatum - get me another Mitchell Blades paddle or lose a body part.
I am now finally have a Mitchell Blades paddle again and couldn't be happier - and my bf is still in one piece. In my opinion they really are the best paddles on the market at the moment - and trust me I've tried a lot!!!

I've had the new blades now for a good few months. I was informed it was the 1st set out of the mould, since they arrived I've had a whole lot of use out of them and they are the most powerful blades I have had. They look super sexy too full carbon with a red shimmer on the active side. Looks really nice when the sun catches them.
Mate of mine has just got a pair and he loves them too and they aren't badly priced for a full carbon blade.

I love my Werner paddles. They're great. But I got some Silver Shadows from Mitchell Blades today, my eyes nearly popped out my head when I got them out the packaging.
They are the best looking bit of kit ever. The materials are wicked. I've been using Werners for about 6 years, not any more. I cannot tell you just how impressed I am with these paddles. They look very very sweet and the paddleshaft is nice 'n' grippy. I'm glad my Werners are splits, they'll go great in the back of my boat!
I can't see how these Nemesis Silver Shadows at £180.00 can be beaten by any other paddle manufacturer. Look out Mr Werner, here comes Mr Mitchell

I have now had a set of Carbon Stealth cranks since 24/12/06, they are awesome. Super impressed in all aspects of the paddle!
Being a novice paddler and having problems with my elbows and wrists I have noticed the post paddle pain has gone and also whistle paddling. I have a lot less fatigue in my arms. Banging them around rocks and the usual kayaking mistreatment (lots more as I am a novice) there has been very little damage.
Much less flutter than all the blades I have tried, durable and bomb proof. I would recommend totally. The quality and workmanship is spot on.

British Jr Freestyle Champion Review From Canoe Cafe & UK River Guidebook
I used my new Mitchell Blades for the first time at the last GB Team Freestyle practice at Shepperton. They attracted a lot of attention and I love them to bits! They are lighter, stronger and more powerful than any blade I have had before.
I will be at the next GB practice (probably on the Thames on Feb 10/11) if anyone wants to try them or catch me one weekend at Nottingham or the Tryweryn.
You must look at Mitchell UK before buying a new paddle!
