The Barakuda and Viper blade shapes are particularly good for Surfing. The Barakuda has slightly more surface area than the Viper, offering slightly greater power to get past the Breakers and enhancing support. However, a skilled, or smaller Surfer will find the Viper the choice paddle to use because of its agility and lightness. We have made these paddles very tough, strong and durable, able to easily stand up to the forces of persistent kayaking. Both these blade shapes are used in Freestyle and typically cut away at the lower neck so Play boaters & Surfers do not catch their boats whilst preforming stunts.

Freestyle paddles are very similar to Surf. Our Freestyle blade shapes and sizes are slightly different, but the mechanics are the same so they can also be used for Surfing.
